Separation From the Dream

It is a difficult grief to explain

To have dreamed a dream

So real and so true

Only to be separated from it

By failure

Disappointing, unexplainable failure

The heart aches

The soul is heavy

To dream and fail comes with a cost

Yet so does not dreaming at all

Is life without beauty and hope even life at all?

In the end, you must dream

But also accept it is ok to not be ok
